The SASHSTOP brand has come a long way over the last few years…
…what started with a man and a simple idea has evolved into a growing range of additional security products, with a core determination of high-quality, reliable, secure but also safe products that are still simple to use whilst providing reassurance for the user and occupant.
One day, Paul’s mother-in-law had fallen inside her own home, but having put the door jammers ‘on’ inside meant that gaining access to her was going to prove difficult. Paul, with over 20 years of experience as a locksmith, managed to get in and rescue her safely and quickly, but he knew that there had to be a better way to approach a sensitive subject of elderly or vulnerable still wanting to feel safe and secure in their home without putting themselves at additional risk if anything was to happen to them whilst in their own home.
Again being a locksmith, Paul had seen enough of poorly made products failing – resulting in a call-out to a job which should have never happened. He spotted that keeping things simple and remaining logical could actually go a long way in terms of making homes and premises secure again, and whilst infuriating when a poorly made product fails during normal operational use it does not get away from the fact that a better solution was needed.
…Paul wanted to change that and in turn began to create the SASHSTOP range!
